The qualified candidate will perform design tasks such as complex conceptual design, modeling and detailing, and investigates and analyze problems to determine customer requirements to help determine solutions.
Create and revises complex Mechanical design concepts, layouts, drawings by investigating and analyzing customer specific problems.
Develop estimates of time and materials required for project.
Manage and coordinates major design projects with the customer.
Coordinate manpower requirements with Technical Lead.
Identify and prepare hardware specifications.
Ensure form, fit, and function of multiple components.
Perform tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Work as a team member to accomplish all tasks.
Ensure high quality of work performed.
Critical technical decision-making and judgment required to perform routine duties.
Complete simple internal documents and other related duties.
Requires AS in Mechanical Design with 2+ years of experience; or a minimum of 5 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Must have demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills ensuring positive customer relations.
Demonstrated knowledge and proper application of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning And Tolerancing) ANSI Y14.5 and dimensional stack-ups.
Must have demonstrated ability on Solid works CAD platform to develop design concepts.
