About
Uniarmour designs and manufactures a range of Universal Thread Protectors, serving as an innovative alternative solution to regular thread protectors.
Founded by Hazem Halim and Alessandro Caccialupi, Uniarmour was incorporated in 2016 and is headquartered in Houston, Texas. Uniarmour serves the global market of tubular products utilized in oil and gas operations. Products cover a wide range of diameters from 0.75″ up to 7″ of OCTG, tubings and drill pipes used for onshore and offshore operations.
Our goal is to improve efficiency for our customers, which is why we offer innovative solutions such as no-thread universal thread protectors. Our patent pending products offer a simple mechanism to install and uninstall thread protectors with any kind of thread type in a faster and safer manner due to the low-impact installation.
Our premium solutions are quick, easy, and sustainable, made out of highly recyclable plastic, High Density PolyEthylene. Protect pipe with a large clamping force that prevents protectors from falling off. Select one thread protector that fits all kinds of thread types, reducing number of SKUs of different protectors carried by our customers.

Hazem Halim
CEO & Co-Founder
Hazem Halim has over 16 years of experience in research and development, manufacturing, and quality.
Halim started his career at Schlumberger, where he held various roles in supply chain, manufacturing, and quality in equipment manufacturing.
He later worked at CST group, an oilfield service equipment engineering and manufacturing company, where he managed manufacturing, engineering, and quality departments. He primarily set quality systems as well as established processes and procedures.
Halim worked at FMC Technologies, an oilfield equipment provider, as US Quality Manager. He managed quality for two manufacturing and 22 service locations, focusing on establishing new quality organization for the Americas region.
Most recently, Halim worked for United States Steel Corp, at the capacity of General Manager Metallurgy and Quality. He managed a range of Quality and R&D departments, promoting a new quality culture focusing on cost management, organizational restructuring and revamping service and relations with clients in the oilfield sector.
Halim obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering at De Mont Fort University in Leicester City UK; a Masters of Engineering Management at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA; and recently an Executive MBA from Rice University in Houston, TX.
Alessandro Caccialupi
CTO & Co-Founder
Alessandro Caccialupi has over 13 years of experience in mechanical engineering, design, testing, and manufacturing.
Caccialupi started his career as a Design Engineer at Schlumberger, an oil and has services company, specializing in inflatable packers and wireline equipment.
After spending three years at Schlumberger, Caccialupi joined Mohawk Energy as a VP of Engineering, a position that he held for nearly 10 years. He was directly responsible for the feasibility, design, testing, and manufacturing of solid expandable tubular equipment for worldwide use. Besides using common engineering design tools, Caccialupi extensively employed plasticity theory to create innovative expandable products.
While at both, Schlumberger and Mohawk, Caccialupi applied and was granted numerous patents in the respective field.
Caccialupi obtained a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
